New, never used, charged, installed. Received it when I bought my T61p, and didn't feel like going through the trouble to send it back, considering what a hassle the ordering process was.

I know for a fact it won't fit my T61p, the box it came in says "T60/R60 series 6-cell" but it has strange parts numbers. The box says "P/N: 41U3198, S/N: L3A4624" but the P/N on the battery itself says "42T5264."

I don't really know what the deal is, but it says its for an R or T, and is brand new. If anyone wants to help me out that'd be great, other wise it's for sale for $70 shipped.

a quick google search shows that the part number you cite from the battery itself ("42T5264") is in fact for a T61 battery.

I can't believe I didn't think of that. I struggled with Lenovo's site for a while but had no results.

It definitely doesn't fit my 61p. It's too wide, and if it did fit width-wise wouldn't line up properly with the connector...

Unless you can definitely figure out which model the battery is really going to fit, I doubt you will have much luck selling it here since notebook batteries are not interchangeable . . . .. .

That battery fits a 14" widescreen T61, R61 or R61i.
