W500 & 7-in1 Card Reader -- where?

The W500 splash screen (on the lenovo website)
touts a 7-in-1 multimedia card reader -- but I can't
find it anywhere in the options or any other mention
of it.

I think it is the SD slot on the front.

card reader isn't an option in "Customize"

and in the product comparisons its listed as an
optional feature.

Yes - standard. The 7 are:

MMC, Memory Stick, Mem Stick Pro, SD, SDHC, XD, XD Type H

That is at most 3 different form factors. I think they all fit into the same slot.
