Parallels Workstation vs. VMWare Workstation

#1 Post by dynamicnet » Thu Sep 18, 2008 9:12 am

Greetings:

Are any of you using Parallels Workstation or VMWare Workstation on your ThinkPad?

If so, which? Why did you pick the one you use?

Have you tried both? Which one do you favor and why?

Are you running it on Windows XP or Vista as the host?

Thank you.

I use VMware Workstation. I have used it for years, and it seems the most flexible and powerful to me at this point. YMMV.

I am cheap so I use the free VMWare Player and ESXi.

I have also dabbled in Xen on a Linux server but VMWare is the most mature.
