I then rebooted - and voila, "Fan error"!
Is there any help, or do I have to send it back? I only have EZServ warranty... And I've been waiting for almost a month for this laptop (order 08/20, recieved 09/17)
Edit: Ooook so it works now, after attempting to boot about 30 times... but is still blasting fans at random even though the CPU is around 30C.
I'll probably still send it back, but at least I have a machine that works right now.
Edit 2: I'm also not sure what will happen if I shut the machine down now - I'll just keep it in sleep until I have the time and/or guts to try again.
