Shipping Method Used by Lenovo

#1 Post by VT-Vincent » Fri Sep 19, 2008 12:47 pm

I recently ordered a ThinkPad W500, which shipped today. I am curious, when I purchased, I chose "Ground" as the shipping service, but since the item is comming from overseas, I know that it has to go by one of UPS' worldwide services. Does anyone know if Lenovo uses "UPS Worldwide Expedited" or "UPS Worldwide Express Saver"?

when i was buying a LOT of new thinkpads from IBM and they were shipping from HK free ground shipping they often arrived the same day they had shipping..
UPS overnight air..
other times the shipment might get hung up in customs for a day or two..

all in all taking the free ground shipping will usually get you UPS air..
