Need help to get my T60 to output on the DVI ubuntu intrepid

Hi Guys.
I recently installed intrepid and i'm trying to get my T60 to output on the external monitor connected to the DVI port in my dock.

I used to have this working in hardy somehow but I forgot to save the xorg.conf and i can't get it to work now.

I just want to get the DVI only, and not the internal LCD.

my video adapter is an intel.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
