airport extreme mini pci-e in a t60p?

#1 Post by beefchowmein » Tue Sep 23, 2008 11:46 am

Have anyone successfully try to put an airport extreme mini pci-e in a t60p and have it work in leopard? I'm running into a 1802 error. From searches I found that 1802 means non ibm/lenovo wifi card. I tried the no-1802 patch, the tape on pin 20. Only thing I haven't try is the zender bios reflash. Anyone else have any tip? Is the airport extreme card made different spec than traditional mini pci-e?

I just did the Zender t60 2.21 firmware and it got pass the 1802 and my leopard boot it up fine. It even detected the Airport Extreme card. But I can't seem to turn it on. It stays in the Turned off status. Fn F5 only toggles the bluetooth.
Anyone have any tips?

I just rebooted and hit apply. It detected the airport and auto configure it. It's fully working now!!!
