dvi problems on t500

#1 Post by a_cad_1 » Tue Sep 23, 2008 12:09 pm

I upgraded from a t60p to a t500.

On the t60p I use a dock with dvi connected to external display 1920x1200.

I tried setting up the t500 on the same dock and display and it did not work.

The display displays off center. about 8% to the left and 2% high.

Any suggestions?

There's usually a way to center it in the monitor's menu, may be auto or manual.

With the analog connector there is x-y adjustments. Not with the DVI connector.

So far Lenovo has had me move to vista, get a newer mini dock, and install newer drivers than lenovo has.

Nothing has worked so far. I believe it is the driver, and maybe someone will rewrite it.

Hi a_cad_1,

sorry no suggestions but I have the same upgrade T60p -> T500 and minidock. Works with no problems. Stock drivers.

But I only with dedicated graphics switched on. Are you using Intel or ATI card?
