Blu-ray for X300/301?

I see There is a new ThinkPad Blu-ray Burner Ultrabay Slim Serial ATA Drive (part# 43N3215).

Though it doesn't specifically mention the X300 series, anyone know if this would work in one?

Hi,

Since it's height is 9.5 mm and not 7.5 mm, you will not be able to install it in the X30x it seems.

At that price you could get a very good blu-ray player and a nice LCD TV. Just trying to put things into perspective. Prices should drop more, although Lenovo always overcharges on these things. But in comparison, the 12.7 mm OEM version sells for $350 or so.
