R51 LCD problem

I am new here, greetings to everyone!
I got a R51, the bottom of the 15" display is 5cm high plain gray, the rest is ok. Would this be a data cable problem or the screen is gone?
Does anybody know the compatibility of r50 r51 r50e screens with my R51, would the t42 15" screen cable compatible. Anywhere a crossreference table about this?

Yes, likely the LCD row driver flex circuit had delaminated. You should be able to find a compatible 15 inch LCD relatively easily.
