yes, it's the latest version... MCCOE64G8MPP-0VAL2 with firmware PS105L16 factory-installed.

it tests out to 99 MB/sec write and 106 MB/sec read per atto disk benchmark software.   the X61 is limited in transfer speed anyway so this is a good combination.

Hm, wish I knew that before I ordered the Intel SSD ... Anyway, do you know if the X61s supports NCQ? And if the transfer speed is restricted in the X200(s) also?
