Driver needed for Intel X25-M Solid State Drive!!!

Hey everyone,

I just received my Intel SSD, and I'm psyched! I put it in my Ultrabay drive bay, and the BIOS, Vista Device Manager, etc. all "see" the drive. However, I am lacking the driver for it.

I did a scan with "Driver Agent" and it immediately found it as well. However, it said the following driver was missing, and which I apparently need to operate the drive properly:

IDE/ATA Controllers
----Intel(R) 82801G (ICH7 Family) Ultra ATA Storage Controllers -27DF

Can someone please let me know as to where I can obtain the driver?? And I would need the 64-bit version...:--(

That should be the Intel Matrix Driver -

However, I solved my own problem. DUH me. I had to initialize and format it. I was so dead tired last night but was determined to make it work THAT night lol...

Thanks for the link. I'll check out that driver. I see you have a T60, too.

Anyway, topic resolved. Everything's good. Now starts the series of real tests for this beauty!
