If your car is having bodywork done in California...

#1 Post by leoblob » Sun Oct 05, 2008 12:36 pm

... here's one shop to AVOID:

Scroll down to the 3rd post to see the unbelievable carnage.

Cliff's notes: Guy takes a nice 350Z in to have some ground effects installed. Body shop uses every possible shoddy practice including zero surface prep, shooting dry wall screws and wood screws to "install" everything and totally butchers the car and the kit.

Just trying to let people know to stay away from this "body shop."

that is so bad, words cant even describe it. It will literally take multiple thousands of dollars to fix that car. Mangled rockers and sills, destroyed bumpers and fenders, etc........ i mean seriously WOW!!

I saw this posted on howardforums. It's amazing how a story pops up on a message board and spreads like wildfire.

It sucks what happened to the car, but the guy didn't really research the shop. He deserves it done right, and it will be done (whether he gets a lawyer or not).

Woah that's pretty bad. I hope he sues them ... bigtime. I'm not really a fan of bodykits and stuff of the like, but that's just horrible what the shop did.
