T60p Ultrabay SATA dock not compatible with W500

I recently got a W500, expecting that I'd be able to use the existing Ultrabay SATA HD dock from the T60p.

However, it does not seem to be compatible - in fact there is a tab on the Ultrabay SATA dock that seems to prevent it from physically docking.

I'm a bit annoyed, since I ordered it from the Lenovo accessory page for the W500.

Any thoughts re RMAing this?

People have been removing the tab to use it with T4x.

Although If you did get it from the W500 page, you should be able to send it back.

I believe that T6x and X6x series adapters and optical drives are incompatible with the new Thinkpads and vice versa.
