W500 WUXGA Display Quality

Have they finally sorted out the quality issues with the WUXGA 15.4" screens? Or, would I be better off with the WSXGA+? Basically, which screen is better quality in the W500? I'd love the WUXGA resolution, but I'm willing to sacrifice for quality.

I've had a A31p with an IPS screen and used a T60p with a flexview as well. I have to say I'm very happy with my W500 1920x1200 screen. Though I haven't seen the 1680x1050 screens in the W500.

I am also considering buying a W500 with a 1920x1200.
I was curious how is the visibility/readability of your screen
out in daylight (though in shade) if you have used it
outside. Thanks.
