Have just purchased/received a 390x recovery cd through the marketplace forum of thinkpads.com. Turns out, the cd is not bootable--it has only a folder named Recovery and one file in that folder called recover.exe. By using a boot disk to get to a dos command prompt with cd support, I am able to start recover.exe, but when I do so it looks to A: for FDISK. I then prepared a floppy with FDISK and restarted recover.exe. This time it looks to A: for FORMAT. Anyone know if there is supposed to be a floppy that goes with this Recovery CD?
It is the the NT version.
Thanks for any help/suggestions.
