Memory Error on Shutdown

#1 Post by dgyee » Tue Oct 14, 2008 8:34 pm

I get the following errror message on shutdown on one of my Thinkpad T40 machines. This machine has a 1.5 gig processor with 512 memory and is running WXP. "The instruction memory cannot be found. Press OK to continue." The message just displays a few seconds and the machine shuts down. I would like to remove this message or configure to eliminate the message.

Check the application and system logs. Any red or yellow flagged errors that appear to be related to the time of shutdown?

Thanks but I couldn't find any error messages other than the following at shutdown which only displays a couple of seconds and then machine shuts down and operates normally.

"The instruction memory _________ cannot be found. Press OK to continue"
