Check customization after placing order for T500

#1 Post by ronli_84 » Wed Oct 15, 2008 1:35 pm

Hi all,

I have recently placed an order for a T500 from the Lenovo Canada site. After I placed the order, the only thing I see under the order details within lenovo's site is the model number.

Is there a way to check the customization that I have entered for the order online (LCD panel type, RAM type etc)? In addition, after I receive the actual laptop, how do I check if it has all the correct parts in it?

The reason I asked is because the order I placed has a LED backlight WXGA screen. However, that option seems to have ben removed from the lenovo site at the moment. I am not sure how I can verify if I am receiving the correct product or not.

Thank you all,
Ron

I believe you've received some invoice while ordering the computer? It should be something normal, I guess that it works in this way in Canada too ...

It's nothing hard to check your laptop's components - you just run some program like Everest Home Edition, SiSoft Sandra, etc. and it gives you information about your hardware.
You'll get all informations from there ...
