GPS software (Google maps) doesnt work

When i start the default software (Google Maps clone) in the ThinkVantage GPS software (version 2.01) i get a lot of script errors.

Internet Explorer reports a script took too long to execute, and asks me to stop it - this message pops up endlessly.

if OK'ing a lot, i get some kind of map.

the GPS program reports my position very good + speed of movement.

any advice ?
