FS: One R50p System - $270 and dropping

I now have one R50p system for sale. Each day I will be dropping the price by $5 until I reach $250. At some time after that, I will put it on eBay - maybe after I return from my trip to the Netherlands (hooray - vacation/business).

Here are the basic specs:
P M 1.7GHz (Banias/1M cache), 15" UXGA(1600x1200) TFT LCD, 128MB ATI FireGL T2, CD-RW/DVD-R Multi-burner, Bluetooth/Modem(CDC), 1GB Ethernet(LOM), Intel 802.11b wireless(MPCI), Secure Chip(TCPA), WinXP Pro

This system comes with 512M of RAM, the DVD burner, battery, AC, HD caddy/cover but no hard-drive.

Cosmetics: 9+/10 cosmetic condition – no cracks or major scratches except what is mentioned below.

LCDs: No dead/stuck pixels. This LCD is nice and bright. It does have the shadowing in the lower right corner common with the UXGA screens.

Testing: This system tested 100% successfully. This does not have the GPU problem to the best of my ability to test that (moving the laptop around a lot showed no problems).

Price includes shipping to the USA. Shipping to Canada is $10 more - to Europe is $30 more. I use the US Postal Service. In the past, several people have asked me to record a lower value when shipping outside of the USA. I know this affects the tax when receiving the systems. Though I understand and sympathize with this situation, I must be honest when recording the value just as I try to be completely honest when describing the systems I am selling.

Here are the one system I have left:
R50p-05: Visible scratch on lid, very small pin-size nick on LCD surface (doesn't show when system powered on), latch has difficulty latching properly but does latch okay.

Price drop to $280. The 'nick' on the LCD is so small, I can't take a picture of it. This is an excellent system with a nice, bright LCD. No takers yet?
