T61/Vista - Network Unresponsive when docking/waking

#1 Post by bvanderw » Fri Oct 17, 2008 7:27 am

I have a T61 running Windows Vista SP1.

When I leave work, I put my T61 to sleep and undock. In the morning, I dock and bring it out of sleep. When it comes out of sleep, the network is always unresponsive (whether I used the computer elsewhere in the evening or not). I always have to reset the adapter, and most often reset then renew my network settings.

Anyone have the same issue and/or know of a solution?

There are often other anomolies involving the display, but I can live with those. I miss the days of my T40 and Windows XP. Docking/undocking worked flawlessly.

Well, you aren't alone! I hope someone can chime in on this issue, as it appears to have started recently. From what I've read this could be the new 5.02 access connections. The only way I can get it back is to restart the device! :( Any ideers?
