T60 xp3 audio

I have searched and searched so if this is a known issue i am sorry.....

I have a t60 with a fresh install of xp with XP3 slipstreamed....

the Audio driver will not install because of the uaa driver is not installed. I can not find a way to fix this and i think i have tried everything.

If you have any ideas please let me know.

i will answer my own question..... XP3 seemed to have left it out the driver when i should be there...

download kb888111 extract the comon files folder and update the drive and point to the extracted files....

done.

UAA is installed when I slipstream SP3 to my XP SP2, was it different in your situation?

Do you slipstream SP3 on XP, SP1 or SP2?
