Upgraded to SXGA+ and loving it!

#1 Post by yak » Mon Oct 20, 2008 11:55 am

Hello!

Just have to tell someone and there's no one around currently :). I received an SXGA+ TFT today to replace an XGA one in my T60. Just finished putting it all together and it works great. As a programmer I was really limited by the low resolution, now it's finally comfortable.

Btw., what do you think about the price? I gave 73 USD on eBay, this is a Samsung screen and it is new, not a single scratch, came with original protecting plastics and bags. I may get some of this back if I sell my existing XGA one. It's almost unused.

Good deal on the LCD Yak. Try selling the XGA one here on Marketplace...someone will be able to use it.

Be warned, once using sxga+ it's very hard to fall back to any lower resolution  .

I've just got a T400 with wxga+ to replace my sxga+ T60 and I'm adjusting to it.

I'm still really missed my sxga+ screen.

It's hard to got back after SXGA+. I have a 14'' wide 1440x900 T61 from office. I can't go with it. So I switch to a 15,4 WUXGA. It's also fine but it's bigger.
