T61 Video Problems - Win XP Boot

My wife got her T60 replaced by a T61 yesterday. Got the laptop home and started it.

After the Win XP splash screen, nothing happened. We thought that there might be some issues with the HDD and rebooted the laptop in the safe mood. Boots properly in safe mode, but not in regular mode.

Was talking with the TechSupport at work (both me and my wife work for the same company) and it appears that this is the third T61 with this issue that they have encountered. They have been in touch with Lenovo.

Apparently some glitch with the NVidia drivers is preventing the shift from the Win XP splash screen to the OS.

Anyone heard of this? Can anyone provide a solution?
