"Update model number" menu item on BIOS update CD

Latest BIOS update CD has "Update model number" menu item.

What does it do and what is it for?

Yes, BIOS update CD - you have to use CD if you have Vista 64 & 32 installed.

OK, so the BIOS update file is put onto a bootable CD and the downloadable BIOS file has the model number update option. That makes sense now.
