Good news for 15" T42 users and the Powersleeve 15

I've scoured this site for confirmation that a 15" Thinkpad with 9-cell would fit a Booq Powersleeve and never found a definitive answer. So, I took a risk and ordered one anyway, despite a description on the Booq website that says the sleeve fits laptops 13.8"x10.5"x1.8" (the 15" T42 is about 13.0"x11.4"x1.2").

Folks, the Booq Powersleeve 15 perfectly fits my T42 (2379R9U) with a 15" LCD and extended 9 cell battery pack! There is no space on the sides and there is a very slight gap at the top. The two pockets have enough space for me to cram in the AC power brick, a Belkin travel surge, and a wire lock. As many others have said on this site, the construction quality of the Booq line is superb - ballistic nylon on all the exterior surfaces, a padded interior with a soft non-scratch material lining the inside, and a very sturdy and padded shoulder strap.

Cneil, thanks for the information. I would just point out though that the IBM specs for my T42p (2373HVU) report my notebook as 13x10.6x1.2, which is just about right for the Powersleeve 15.

Either way I appreciate the post. I'm still deciding between the Booq and Waterfield cases (and open to other options).
