Cracking Battery

#1 Post by Dermis » Fri Oct 31, 2008 2:37 am

hello my fellow thinkpad friends,
this morning i've just dropped my thinkpad t60 battery onto the floor.
I've picked up the battery and i recognize that there is a crack on the right side of the battery.
My question, is it still safe for me to use and charge this battery? I'm afraid that there will be
electrical shock circuit or something like that. Or the crack is just at the surface of the battery cover and did not affected the real-battery inside it

Seal the crack with some epoxy and don't worry about it as long as the battery charges correctly.
