T500 and Notebook Hardware Control (NHC)

I've just ordered a ThinkPad T500 (2089-2QG) and I would like to know if someone is running NHC on this configuration (or similar)

I don't know why you would like to run nhc on a T500, but the main reason why i used nhc in the past is to make the computer quiet. For the T500 i have been using a lot of them and so far i have not found a good reason to use nhc on the T500 series since i find them to be very quiet.

The reason is simple : underclocking to improve battery life!
