optiarc dvd rw ad-7910a won't burn?!?!

hi all good people, as i wrote in the topic, my optiarc dvd rw ad-7910a DVD/RW in Lenovo t61p won't burn any media... and if finally do, just very slow... i'm using Ashampoo Burning studio 8, never had any problem with this software or DVD/RW, but i've bought the Advanced Dock, so obviously i have DVD-Rom in dock and 2nd HDD in laptop.. any ideas? any experiences with this problem? and second question, i've noticed, exist on more super slim ( 9.5 mm ) devices with labelflash and i would like to buy it, lenovo have some restriction to use other DVD ROM? the url for the dvd rom :http://www.sonynec-optiarc.eu/en/exhibi ... 7913a.html

So, the DVD burner works fine in the computer but not in the Dock? My daughter's T61p has had some problems with the Optiarc DVD burner also (in the computer).

I'm not sure what you are asking in the second part of your post - are you asking if Lightscribe/Labelflash drives work in the T61p?

well in computer won't burn at all, and in the dock very slow... about the 2nd question, forgot to ask, if shoulf fit in the slot, but i've just noticed, the front panel on the drive is not that same .. but is 9.5mm, so if it should be possible replace the front panel ... maybe.. im going to reinstall OS, so hopefully it should work..
