[R61i] System Update won't run on Vista Business

I have the NG1F7PB model of R61i.

The first run of preinstalled System Update auto upgraded it self and restarted.

The second run (after auto update) freezed at 7th %. I needed to terminate the System Update process.

The third and next runs also freezed at 7th %.

I've uninstalled, rebooted, installed freshly downloaded version of System Update and rebooted again.

Now System Update only displays the splash screen and nothing else happens.

Any clues?

I am having a problem with the latest version of Lenovo System update on a T60P with Vista Ultimate 64.

It just keeps asking for admin privilege but won't go beyond that.
