Laptop value evaluation.
I've got a couple of old laptops, and I'm wondering what each is worth. I've got a x61 tablet to save up for. Generally, laptops these old should be uber cheap, but I've also seen them for ridiculous amounts of money at retail refurbishing outlets. Just wondering your opinions.
-Dell Lattitude Cpi
speed tests show 400Mhz PII MMX processor
128MB RAM
missing keys, but I can get a $12 keyboard on ebay.
Actually a nice little laptop...
-Actually, now that I think about it, that's the only one that runs. XD O_O

Selling a Dell laptop to anyone at any price is dishonest, so get as much as you can and don't let your honesty get away at bargain basement price...

XD I kind of feel the same way about Dells... While a lot of people venerate them. O_o
As I speak, I am using my Dell desktop. XD (Though not by choice, it was a donation, and I can't ever afford new computers.)

With a few exceptions (GX260 and its popping caps) there is nothing wrong with Dell Desktops. Desktops sit and one place and are just a combination of 3rd party parts slapped into a pretty shell. I always tell people to get whatever is cheapest that has the components they want. Unless you have a product defect (GX260) you rarely have hardware related warranty issues.

Well, sure. This desktop works fine. But meh... Still kind of cheapy feeling in its overly-shiny way. I don't understand why people love super curved and shiny so much. I'm all for shiny, and I'm all for curved, but these are just ridiculously overboard. The laptops that students use at my college are downright ugly!

Thanks!
I suppose that means $100 closer to that x61 tablet...
Well, $50. I'd feel bad if I didn't split the profits with the guy I bought it from. >_> "Hey Steve! Remember that laptop I bought from you for $10? Put a keyboard in it and made $100. Guh-HEH."
