x61 used in X6 Ultrabase

#1 Post by 2timer » Sun Nov 09, 2008 12:28 pm

Hi, I have a external monitor that supports 1920x1200 resolution. It works fine connected directly to the laptop but I was thinking if I get the X6 ultrabase will it display that resolution or will it be lower?

I'm asking becuase I noticed those USB docking stations have a limit and was wondering if the ultrabase has limits.

yes it will..i have a monitor with a similar resolution 8) and it works pretty fine with the laptop alone and with the laptop docked in the X6 ultrabase..

the resolutions coming out of the laptop and the ultrabase will pretty much be the same because graphics display is from the laptop and the ultrabase dosen't have anything onboard..
