Need the screw that hold the HD in at the bottom of T23

I just noticed that the screw that holds the HD holder onto the underside of the T23 is missing. Where can I get one of these? Is it something that I can get at a local hardware store, a standard screw, or is it a special part that must be bought from IBM or similar parts supplier.

You can get the whole set with all the screws from Wibony.
He has also all screws (and many other parts) for other TP models.

Good info all, and I spent time tracking down sales on eBay, but surely there's a KNOWN specification for this particular screw, and an easy way to buy just one.

On eBay you can buy 10 HD cap pieces with screws, and you can buy 1 cap piece plus screw and the HD tray and its 4 screws, but I'm thinking someone on here sells them for a buck apiece or something?

Aren't these screws routinely misplaced?

They're sometimes called "coin-screws", and they are indeed the first ones that people lose.

Hobby shop - DuBro packaged two or three screws les than $2.00. Most HD screws seem to be 3 mm diameter; the 600 series took 3X3 mm with socket head that IBM called "security."

the T30 HMM lists the hdd covers screw as: HDD screw, M3.0 × 11.0 mm (think its the same on T2x - but you can look in the T2x HMM to be sure)
i dont think it's a problem finding this sort of screw at a hardware store
i had several lying around in my boxes-o-screws

Hobby shops carry DuBro company that makes packages of 3mm socket head from 3mmX4mm up to 3mmX50mm, all less than $2.00.
I have no connection to this company, just know their screws look just like the ones IBM provides.
