Hey All, I have been a member for a while however I usually lurk!

Anyway, I am in the market for a new laptop. After spending two days driving around getting refunds (bought 3 laptops from PC World UK which all had dead pixels) I want to stick with the Thinkpad range for my next purchase. Tough and powerful. I am careful, but I am pretty bashful with my toys.

After recently sending my X60 off for repair I need a desktop machine for home, as my X60 travels with me to university everyday. Hence why I am looking at the t series range to act as a desktop replacement.

So, my question is before you click the back button, Am I likely to be power up a new t61 and be faced with dead pixels?
