I checked over the short USB card, and can find no name of the manufacturer anywhere.. I bought a slew of them in bulk without the original packaging... no identifying marks of any kind, just many different USB 2.0 verification markings, and "Made in China". I was shocked at that revelation, I tell you, just shocked!

I suppose if it was a life-or-death matter I could pry one apart on some Sunday morning and look for board or chip markings, but that might interfere with my one-day-a-week-that-the-wife-and-kids-and-grandkids-don't-bother-me-so-I-can-catch-up-on-my-naps time :D

Regards.

Thanks RealBlackStuff for the AKE suggestion. Now I don't have to lose my Sunday A.M. nap :D

The ones I have do not have the AKE markings printed on them in the upper left. Not that they were removed, just that they were never printed with the markings. The rest of the markings on the card remain identical to what I can find by searching.
