Hi everyone this is my first time on the forum. I have a small problem which I think is common with many of you. I have made a search and read some of the topics but did not find. I have an IBM 1847 W1C ThinkPad R52, and I have lost the on screen volume control, or indicator bar as some call it.
It probably is caused by an outdated driver or a place where I can click the option but unfortunately I don't know where.
Could someone give me the answer if you have seen or had the problem. Many thanks ...

Welcome to the forum. You can find all your drivers for your model here. Or browse the lenovo.com site. The drivers you need are the Hotkey Driver.
I would also recommend the Hardware Maintenance Manual (HMM) for getting to know the internals.This package contains the following sub packages;
- On Screen Display
- FullScreen Magnifier
Z61p (WUXGA)/2.16ghz/2gb/60gb, R51/1.8ghz/1gb/160gb, R40/1.5ghz/2gb/80gb, 600E/366mhz/416mb/20gb, Project R51 with SXGA+
