WTB: Wanted T43 Palmrest W/Mouse and Fingerprint Reader

I recently obtained a good T43 2668 but the mouse left click button is broken on it. If anyone has one of these layin around I need one . Willing to pay with paypal

I assume that the ThinkPad you’re talking about is the 14.1” T43 model 2668-4DU you mention in the thread High GPU and CPU temps, TPM issues and other stuff on T43p. If so, and according to System service parts - ThinkPad T43, T43p, the part you’re looking for is IBM FRU 26R8410 or 91P8684 (”Palm rest assembly 14.1 inch with touch pad, fingerprint reader”). One such is e.g. here or here. However, I have from time to time seen seperate ”Touchpad w/Button” on eBay (IBM FRU 13R2348) which may be what you want; see e.g. here – and these may perhaps work with your existing palm rest? (NB: I'm not sure if there are different versions for 14.1" and 15" ThinkPad's?).

Also try search for 93P4696; again I am not sure if it works for 14.1” T43’s?

Yes its for the 14.1 inch, I don't know if I buy the mouse alone from ebay if I will be able to connect my fingerprint reader to it.
