Can't scroll in VMWare

This may be more of an application issue than a Thinkpad issue, but hopefully someone will have an idea.

I can scroll up and down in VMWare. Is there a tweak to the drivers of the Trackpoint that will allow it (similar to the one needed for OpenOffice)?

Trackpoint on any number of ThinkPads has not scrolled a VM guest in any version of VMware up to 6.5. A regular mouse works fine (as you know) ... JDH
