Another "project" that I never got to...
the bad:
Motherboard. The machine does boot, but displays blue lines on the screen, then goes into funky symbols. Likely a messed-up BIOS. I did get it to fully boot Linux from CD, and to function within the OS, but you should not count on fixing it. This is NOT being sold as working unit.
the good:
- very good to excellent plastics
- very good to excellent 15" XGA LCD (no dead pixels, bright spots, pressure marks, extremely presentable condition)
- nice keyboard with some shine, about 8.5 out of 10
- fully working 1.13 P3M Tullatin CPU and heatsink
- Windows 2000 Professional COA
pricing:
I'd be happy to get $50 shipped to lower 48 states for the complete barebone unit (no RAM, no drives, no battery, no AC adapter, no covers).
If I'm parting it out:
a) Complete lid (LCD, cable, plastics...) ..............$35 + shipping
b) Complete base (plastics, mobo with CPU, bays, cards etc.) ......$25 + shipping
c) Keyboard..................................$15 + shipping
trades - what I'm in need of:
a) Any type of media drive for T4x units
b) Keyboard for a 15" T4x/R5x unit.
Needless to say, deals can go any which way...I don't have a problem throwing in some $$ if you have what I need under reasonable terms...
Feel free to PM me with any questions that you might have.
