R61i Vs R61e ?

Whats the difference ? i just bought one it was supposed to be listed as R61i and when the guy gave me the manufacturer number i checked and it turned out to be R61e

although process ram other things are the same specs listed on the auction and lenovo's website

should i be afraid ? its closed box

I believe it's the thouchpad. R61e does not has it.

For a person that only use the eraser head like me, I consider it a plus ( thus I have a R61e at home ).

And the optical drive is fixed, i.e. not swapable.

I have a r60e, no mouse pad.

Another thing to consider, some e models don't have the docking station connector.

While the optical drive is not swap-able, you can change them with not a lot of trouble.
