I can't get a decent volume on most headphones.
Is there any way to boost volume? Maybe with a newer driver?
I'm not even using DVDs which is even worse.

What OS are you running. Audio mixing works differently in Vista, you can control the volume of each program in vista so see if that helps. Also there may be some volume settings in the driver that you may want to check out.
