I have a 2 pack of i1300 Thinkpads left from the original 8 or 10 I purchased and refurbed as graduation gifts.
The only comparison I can find to them is from some place in Canada at $160.00.
Neither of these are perfect, but no cracks in the plastic. They both have maxed RAM @ 192mb. Both will run 98se or W2kPro fantastic. I was very unhappy with XPpro, they would run it, but you better not get in a hurry. Both have CDRWs. Screens are very good
For a knock around machine, or for a first year University student on 2kPro they are hard to beat, and if you drop them, you havent lost a ton of money.
Plastic and battery on one is in significantly worse shape than the other, but it usable (just not pretty)
Both are 750mghtz
Neither have HDDs at this time
Id like these to go to a new home
