power option properties

i need a little bit help in here. in power option properties there is a tab for beeps/alarams. lid close action beep is Enable but it still don't work. can some one please help me here.

There should be an option to turn on system beep alerts in BIOS. Is it enabled? (Hold down the F1 key on boot to go into BIOS)

well there is no option in bios to enable system beeps...
