My 4 year old 15" flexview screen seems to take longer & longer to come up to full brightness at start up .... 20 -30 seconds.
Eventually "full" brightness is attained, but its been so long , i cant tell if it's as bright as new , or just somewhere in between.
The color seems ok, no distinct "pinking" to speak of, which would point to bulbs . & no dead pixcells either .
Am i approaching the usefull lifespan of these screens , or could this be the lamps , or inverter , or ? ,going out ???.
?
the model in question is 2373 hvu ... is this model prone to middle age screen failures ??
Have any other t42p owners had this happen ?
The machine has been used almost daily all its life, but baby'd as well.... i love it , & would hate to have to part w/ it .
Great list
Many thanks
Pete
