Thinkpad T60p 2007-YLX

#1 Post by Ivan Ivankovic » Wed Nov 26, 2008 4:53 am

What's the biggest HDD that can work in T60p 2007-YLX?
Does it support SATA-II? I assume yes, because there's an AHCI option in BIOS.
T60p: 2007-YLX (Core 2 Duo T7200@2Ghz,2GB RAM,FireGL V5250 256MB, FlexView...)

The only limits are your needs and your budget...any size SATA laptop drive will work...320GB, 500GB... :D

SATA 3.0 will work at SATA 1.5 speed in your ThinkPad, though.

Hope this helps.

as long as its height is 9.5 mm. Beware, there is one 500GB Hitachi drive whose height is 12.7 mm. And that one obviously won't fit.
