Hi,
I don't know if anybody here has tried to apply Coollaboratory Liquid Pro thermal paste between their T61's CPU and heat sink yet. It's supposed to be even better than Arctic Silver 5 in achieving better heat transmission and this lower temperatures.
As far as I know it must not be used with aluminium heat sinks, i.e., it shouldn't get in contact with aluminium at all.
Does anybody know if the T61's heat sink have any aluminium or a reliable way to find out?
I couldn't find any information on Lenovo's part information page:
