14.1 wxga replacement using z61t for the t61

#1 Post by wakka2u » Sat Nov 29, 2008 9:13 pm

i have an old z61t i don't need and have a cracked LCD on my T61, the LCDs look pretty close in size and in position with the bezel set-up. would there be any issues replacing the T61 wxga lcd?

thanks in advance all!

From what I can deduce from the HMM's for both models, there was at least one LCD that overlapped between the two models.

It should work. But you'll have to report back if it does! The info will be a great contribution to the forum. Good luck.

(Don't forget, you can test the inverters from both displays, too.)
