Trackpoint for x61t rendered useless

#1 Post by spasell » Mon Dec 01, 2008 10:46 pm

Hello Everyone -

I just downloaded updates recommended from Lenovo and the only one that I did was the BIOS update. However, after doing so, for whatever reason, my Trackpoint no longer works. I've tried to find the driver issue if there is one and cannot.

Does anyone know how I might resolve this issue? Thanks for the help!

Would a system restore before you noticed the error work? If it does, and the mouse works, then it is most likely the bios... Did you install all the hardware updates for the system before you did the bios update (including windows and any other software updates).
