Hibernation

#1 Post by ldr » Tue Dec 02, 2008 6:34 am

Hey there,

whenever I put my Notebook into sleep mode and connect the power after that it will eventually hibernate?! It will stay in sleep mode if I do not connect the power. Any ideas how to fix that? I dont want it to hibernate at all.

Unless i'm wrong that is the hybrid sleep that can have different settings when running on battery and when connected to power. Check the power manager and disable the hybrid sleep for AC as well as battery.

I disabled Hybrid sleep since I have the Notebook. Does not make sense for a battery operated PC anyway.
