Power adapter, where to buy?

#1 Post by ammar » Thu Dec 04, 2008 3:07 pm

Hi!
I have a bunch of power adapters for my collection of X31/T42 laptops, my new X200 can't use the old adapters. The "old" can be found for $10-$20 on eBay, the X200 ones are few times more expensive. Is there some sort of connector/adapter that would render my old adapters usable with X200? Do I need to have the 90W 20V or I can go for a weaker one?
Has any of you some source for purchasing quality reasonably priced adapters. I might be needing 4-5 pcs.
TIA

P.S. can it be dangerous to buy something like this? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0313151214

You absolutely need a 20V adapter. (Not the old 16V)

65W or more for an X200.

I have one of those Ebay 90W generic supplies (not exactly the one you picked). Works fine on my X61s and W500. Quality is similar to the Lenovo supply.
